This year BuildASign.com held a food drive benefitting Capital Area Food Bank. However, we added a unique twist to this donation drive and called it CANville 2012. For CANville we split our company into 5 teams who each had 3 weeks to build a community structure out of non-perishable items from the food bank's "most wanted" list. The "community" theme was open to interpretation as our teams got very creative with their structures. In total, our company donated about 3,125 food items (about 3,000 pounds of food) to Capital Area Food Bank! We can't wait until next year's CANville so we can take this competition community wide!
